RIP Olivia. My sister used to blast her music when she was a kid. One of my first “musical memories” is her playing “Have You Never Been Mellow” over and over. I wouldn’t admit it at the time, but I loved that song. I think she was one of my first crushes.

After watching this, I just figured out that Shabba Doo, Ozone from Breakin', was in Xanadu

 

Definitely a fond memory from my youth, gone too soon. Sorry she's gone.

 

Back in 2018, I sold this wooden portrait of Olivia Newton-John to the fan on the right, with a request that she send me a picture of Olivia with it if she got the opportunity. Well she met her, & Olivia said "thank you so much, I have a perfect spot in my barn for this!". To which the owner of the piece had to reply "no, you don't get to keep it, I just want you to sign it". So it's nice to know that Ms. Newton-John dug it, and that celebrities have just as awkward moments as us normal folk. RIP Olivia Newton-John; you were a fantastic talent.
