    Quite simply if you're not able to work then don't work. Don't need anyone trackside whose head isn't in it. And yes I know it's not easy.

    So true. Sean remember when there was a fatality at the Suzuki run offs at Road A under the bridge at the top of gravity cavity before the kink was added?
    I was working and was at the station right after the bridge.
    I remember it took a few minutes to find the rider in all the hay piled up next to the concrete. I found the bike buried but someone else found the rider.
    It was my very first track working experience. Messed my head up a bit. I don't remember if I worked the remainder of the weekend. I know my head wasn't in it at the level it should have been after that. The lady at the bottom of the hill, can't remember her name, was really upset.

    You’re missing the point. The workers who attended are also affected, and shouldn’t be overlooked as casualties of this tragedy.

    Be there for them. They’re going to need the support as well.

    100% agree on the rest of your post. That’s why I bowed out of the endurance race in 2001 when we had our previous fatal. Knew I wouldn’t roll through T1 without being distracted.

    Missing what point? I am there for them, absolutely and always.

    My point is they are NOT expected to be out there working today if they can't do it. No one expects them to be. My first weekend corner working I replaced someone following a death in their corner, I get it believe me.
