From a quick read on the stuff on TDJU, it looks like the winner (Jesse - shown in OP) ran a metric bike in a "Harley" class. However, his class of bike is explicitly allowed in the rules anyways.

Harley peeps got quite angry and apparently even protested (unsuccessfully). Instead, the race org allowed the runner up Harley peeps to do their own podium after the official one.

Apparently the "Harley Guys" were threating Jesse with physical harm because he beat them all on the Yamaha. LOL

OP, did you tell CRA about the threats? That's prob the first step for getting assholes banned from the club.

Had a long conversation with the race director this am. Turns out these guys cried SO much to the officials that they were given their own “fake” podium celebration after I left so they could all feel warm and fuzzy. However the official results stand, I wasn’t disqualified, and the protest was denied. What a sad look for all these guys.
