on a scale of 1-31 (1 being the lowest) how disappointed in GG will we be following this race weekend?

Hope to see Scott in the top 8 all weekend since he did well last year (granted he was on the Duc).

I think GG31 will show up this weekend. He was on a podcast recently talking about the shitty luck he's had and we all know his 11th position in the points isn't showing his true ability. His teammate hasn't scored a point this year so we know GG isn't at the bottom of Yamaha's list of riders to replace.

    HPPT !!!

I think he needs to score a lot more points than his teammate to have an equal shot at keeping his place.

Over a second up on JR!
Not so good for VdM. He didn't even make the cutoff time, but he only got one lap in before he crashed and was taken to the medical center. That leg didn't look so good, so I hope he is going to be OK.

I'm hoping that GG has one of those weekends that will be the start of a trend, but he had one lap under 1:37, Sofuoglu had four laps that were sub 1:37, but he was not able to string them together

Michael van der Mark (BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team) has now been ruled out of the Estoril Round after sustaining a fracture of the right femur neck.

I didn't want to get ahead of myself, but with 3 weeks to the next round in June and another three to four weeks after that to the UK round in July, he might have a shot.

edit - I just looked over the FP2 pdf - even though Rea was third fastest, he had nearly twice as many laps under 1:37 compared to Bautista in 2nd and Razgatlioglu in 1st
