13 riders all within 1 sec of each other in P2 Moto2. Joe Roberts leading the Americans. Cam and SDK seem to be struggling.
Hard to envision how it could be going worse. edit: I spoke too soon. Apparently the entire team is a shit show. Cam came back to pits a couple times and only got a couple laps in at speed.
In Moto2...KTM red bull team is just the cream at the top. Drop Joe or Cam in that team and they are up front winning. Period. Now the other teams should be spying on how they manage things.
My recollection is he had transmission issues at COTA and then dropped out of a race due to shifting issues.
That’s a bit of a stretch. I’d agree the 600 class isn’t at stacked as it once was. But I don’t think that’s indicative of the series as a whole. As much as superbike may not be the most fun racing to watch, we’ve had a couple guys come out of there in recent years and immediately show reasonable speed/potential on the world level. We’ve had world superbike and gp riders come here in sbk and be held in check quite well. It’s been a weird season across the board this year and I do agree that I don’t think sdk was ready to make the jump. But saying that’s indicative of a weak domestic series I don’t believe is really supported by results.
