I know this is like asking how long a piece of string is. But I figure somebody in here is in the auto upholstery business. I've got a 2005 Ford E350 motovan. Set up with a partition and a jacknife sofa in the back. The front seats are original and my thought was to have them, and the sofa in back redone in pleather/vinyl and actually carpet the passenger area to make it look finished and cut down on noise. Right now it's got the factory rubber matt down only. Anyone know what I'm looking at to do this? Couple thousand? More? Discount if I do it in purple velvet?
You can DIY the front seat with something form a place like https://autoseatreplacement.com/ Lots of places make stock replacement covers. For the sofa...take it somewhere and figure a tree fiddy to five hunny. carpet is a kit from JC whitney or similar. So all in DIY for may 1k - 1.5k.
No worries. Lots of youtube vidoes of guys swapping seat covers. Most of that era are hog rings. Easy to do. Just find the cover you like and swap. Good luck.
@shakazulu12 You should also look at taking it to Nogales. Make a weekend out of it.. When I lived in San Diego, I had multiple friends take their re-upholstery jobs to Tijuana and it was cheaper by 30-50% depending on material.
