I can see it sitting outside a grocery store, giving rides for a quarter.

Digging for pics of the cb750 choppers my uncle built, I did find one with I "think" is an XS 650 or 750 twin engine that he did circa late 90's. Cant find the damned pics of the CB's though. Did find a bunch of the missing fat strongman pics I was looking for...........might have to post those since you wont post any MMA chick pics in your other bait thread:Poke::D

The desire for a chopper is lost on me, but...

Imagine the dissonance of the sight and sound.

About a week remaining in the auction. Reserve is likely rather high, as it was listed once before with an asking price of $30K, if memory serves.

dave3593 What I know about opera I learned from Bugs Bunny

I was moving stuff around in the garage and uncovered this so I went ahead and took a picture. That's the unfinished frame. The little Ford motor is on the right and the Harley six speed trans is sitting on the floor. I have enough mounts to hold the motor and gearbox in place but not for running. I also need to make a frame "head stay" that joins the steering head to the top of the engine block. I may finish it someday. IMG_20220319_155623318.jpg

No. Only one of the big three/four out of Oakland that persists is Everett and Jones. Naturally, they were the least best of the bunch. As a southside kid c. 1975, I was pretty darn near the palest customer of Flint's on Shattuck. That said, one time this middle-aged (30?) white guy once ordered his food "to go". (There was no seating in the place. Literally, no room except for the line to snake out the door.) Man I miss that joint.
