Could be worse, imagine having to listen to 'Rick & Marty Ton'O'Laffs Morning Show'. in a continuous loop....

That said, it's a pretty weird glitch.

the car max ad with the cd player being stuck on nookie by limp bizkit was pretty amusing.

    beac83 "My safeword is bananna"

Crappy firmware in the radio. The station used a graphic file without a file extension in the RDS feed (puts the station logo on radio displays that support RDS), and the radio firmware can't handle it and gets stuck - permanently.

The developer who wrote that software, and the people who QA'd (or the managers who prevented proper QA from happening) it should be fired after being first being required to personally do the fix on each and every radio in the wild.

The fix is to remove the radio from the dash, place it on the bench, open the case and connect the firmware programming cable and load revised firmware. Then test, and put the radio back together and re-install in the dash.

Surprise! Stupid hurts and is expensive.

Reminds me of a co-worker that used to listen to Howard Stern.
Just hours of mindless drivel interspersed with the occasional stripper/pornstar.
Thank god he went to Sirius XM and got the fsck off the public air.

I listen to NPR everyday on my short 4:45-5:10am commute to work. Its to the point where if I was blind fold and someone else drove me I could tell you where we are just by what what segment of the news is being delivered. lol

I'm starting to think that @In Your Corner may be right about me...
