So I might sound stupid here but what are 16 1/2 inch wheels doesn’t appear to be any tires for that size?

16.5" wheels used to be a popular race size, not so much anymore though.

And now reality comes into play, as 16.5 road race tires have been gone for 6 years

And those 20 or so sets at Iconic are going to last what 1 or 2 years? But yet you can use 17" wheels and get the best and baddest tires from Pirelli until WSBK does something different?

That’s a shame, they are cool wheels and really cheap but useless at the same time. Thank you for the info guys.

Honestly, it was the price for me. For the 300 I was going use for them in my man cave If nothing else. I'm starting to think my fiance is right and I may be a hoarder w motorcycle stuff. I stumbled across this post and brought it back from the dead as I was browsing some CBR parts.
