Not really from the road, but the guy who broke both of these poles was on the road. Instead of backing up towards the green door, he decided he should go to the back parking lot and turn around. Not enough clearance and barely enough room to turn around a straight truck let alone the tractor with a 53' trailer on it. When we got the wire up high enough for him to back out he told us to be patient because he'd just gotten his license and started driving. The blue circle is the fenced area that he would have had to stop at anyway if it weren't for the wires holding him back. The black circle is the location of the door he needed to back towards and the poles he pulverized. With the shortage of transformers and the fact he destroyed 4, I would hate to see the bill his insurance has to pay.
As long as I don’t have to be the one to repair shit, IDGAF. Nothing sucks as bad as fire damage repairs. You’ll smell like an ashtray for two weeks no matter what you do, and you may as well burn your clothes, they’ll actually smell better.
He could have pulled in, turned to the right in the parking lot, and backed in on the drivers side. That's how we got a 45' pole on a trailer in there.
