Great teams yes, dominant no. Next weeks matchips will be interesting. I think the 9ers are the worst matchup for GB. Tampa should definitely be rooting for Arizona tonight. The Bills, Titans Chiefs, Bucs and Packers are all really good teams and coached well. Rams are underachieving lately, but a lot of talent there.
I'm not ready to write off Hurts just yet, but time will tell. Agreed that the defense looked horrible yesterday and that was probably the biggest surprise, from my POV.
Same. I thought we'd see 2 things, a solid run game on offense and the defensive pass rush get Brady rattled a little. Instead the Bucs ran at will and then had their way with Philly's D. That game was even uglier than the score showed.
I really want to see Kyler Murray have a kick ass game tonight. 400 passing, 100 running. Hey, I can dream...
Not sure what I just watched that 1st half. Appears Phoenix is getting out coached. Kupp being used as a decoy making OBJ look like a hero. And the Rams D came to play.
There were 4/6 blowouts. 2 close games. That's fine. I liked how they scheduled all the games though. A nice weekend of football. And if the Chargers and Raiders made it, probably would have been closer games on the AFC side.
And now it gets tougher... TBH I really like all the away teams, but statistically speaking no way all of them can win. TEN vs North Kentucky: North Kentucky KC vs BUF: KC GB vs SF: GB TB vs LAR: LAR
without Hopkins and Conner and Edmonds not there or at full strength, that's half of their offense. Also Watt not 100% either. They were done for.
Expanding to 14 teams may have been a stretch. I think 12 is all they really need, but I did like having 6 games this weekend. If they keep this format, a 7 seed will eventually beat a 2 seed. Really, I just want the Brady Bunch to lose this weekend so all the icky teams will be gone. Then I can just hope for good, entertaining games.
