Solo / Solo 2 Fork Mounts for 41 / 50mm Forks

Resurrecting this old thread. Things have evolved quite a lot in the last year. We now have MANY different sizes of Solo2 mounts both above the upper triple and below the clip-on.

Standard mount:
OG Solo - 41 and 50mm
Solo 2 - 37, 41, 47, 48, 50, 51, 53, and 55mm

Under mount (all Solo2) - 41, 50, and 51mm

We added a couple new part numbers in our last run. We now have under the clip-on mounts available in 43mm (RC390, older R6), 53mm (Ducati) and 55mm (BMW).

I ordered one of these for a Solo 2 (which is still on backorder). Nonetheless, easy installation and quality parts for sure. 11/10, highly recommended! Fits my 17 CBR1000 perfectly

I'm interested in a 51mm above triple mount for 09 zx6r. I have the speed angle timer with no holes.

 

I only see the under clip on for the solo 2, would you be able to make one for the original solo? I was getting ready to order an above clipon mount before I found this thread where I thought I’d ask

 

Question--(41mm) how much fork above the triple is necessary to get a sturdy mounting position? I've had one on my STG wishlist for a while, but 6mm + 2mm cap height didn't seem like enough.

 

The mounts are 1/4" (~6mm) thick. We recommend that much fork tube for clamping (not counting the cap).

You'll be ok with that fork height.

We make an under the clip-on mount as well, if you need the flexiblity to raise your front end.

You're right, we only make those for the Solo2. If you can wait a bit, I can make one for an original Solo.

I'm not familar with the speed angle timer - can you share how you would mount it to the bracket? Our mounts are machined to fit the mounting holes of spcific timers.
