T'would this be a 91-92 K model? Missing right side signal. Right side fork adjuster looks like it's marred (is that a word)
With the way prices have gone lately I bet it’ll list for well over $20k. will it sell? That whole “memories are expensive” shit.
I don't like the lack of miles but other than that.. it's worth whatever I could pay until the wife threatens divorce
My buddy just sent these image to me to assess it's value, which I've obviously no clue about. He's in Germany and is considering buying it. It's somewhere in the States as he's thinking of coming out here to check it out.
Just becareful, it doesn't seem to be a ZX7R... no adjustable swing-arm, which was the visual difference between the 7R and the regular 7. The other differences were in the tranny and the carbs. Edit... I might be wrong on the years. Yup adjustable in '93
Not sure if this is the same one,but I also saw one on FB today still in the crate. That would explain the 2 miles.
The 8th letter of the VIN would either be a “J” or a “K” to determine if it was a normal model or the homologation special. The flat slide carbs, single seat unit, cams, tachometer etc can all be faked. Regards, Chad
It does have the flatslide carb adjustment hole on the side panel on the right side which is ZX-7R only. The tank should be aluminum so no magnet stick. Easily checked.
https://iconicmotorbikeauctions.com/auction/1992-kawasaki-zx-7r-k1/ This one sold for a bit shy of $22k
Per Ryan Rawls It’s got some issues in some areas and I think that tach has been switched. It looks like to a average person it could fetch maybe 10k to 15k.It does have some red flags
We just got 2 in an estate sale, 1 early and one late, Both Need TLC and we will sell em cheap. also have a NIB OEM 91 fuel tank, Kit carbon airbox and flatslide parts etc..
Rotors don't read to me as having 2 miles and from what I can tell the fork adjuster has some wear on it.
then the previous owner(s) need an award... 100k on that torture rack... if closed course miles then hell yes. I think @dwire had an 06 GSXR 750 with 60 or 70,000 track miles.
