Anything you can do to distribute the torsional load over a larger area is going to be advantageous especially with plywood floors.
yup. cut the tarp, move the insulation aside, have the bolts go through a two-by or plate that is not just plywood. put insulation back in and tape up tarp under trailer. done Jeff had his R6 tilt in the trailer after one of the bumps heading to the gate at barber
Mine wouldn't be turned a "tiny bit", it'd be to the lock sometimes........but a bungee solved that problem pretty painlessly.
I just turn mine to the either side once it's locked in place. Going down the road it just naturally settles to one side anyway due to trailer movement and the rake of the forks, and it's not going to hurt anything resting on the steering stop.
Impressive! It really is a great system. I put the bolts through a frame cross member for added rigidity. The frame just happened to be close enough to where I wanted it anyway.
This was my rig that was hit in the rear right corner while traveling down GA 400 this past Monday. No injuries and bikes are just fine. The pitbull restraints were secured with a 4x4 backing plate under each side. The zuma 50 pins were custom made by myself. I am not aware of anyone making them for the 50cc.
