Zarco wasn't even two years ago. How long have you been following GPs?

Aleix has been 6-10 all year, and the one 3rd, when he has finished. I don’t think a top 10 for Mav is a stretch at all.

I dont think AE41 recruits MV12 as hard as he did just to be sour about the performance of another great rider.

He seems to me like the type of person who, if outperformed, works harder in order to get better.

Where MV12 will finish also takes into account the track and not just the bike. Maverick finished 4th at Aragon his last go there. So, a top 10 is more than doable. The Suzuki boys also like that track, as does MM93…10 lefts and 7 rights will make him like it even more this time.

Not really surprised, Mav is a headcase for sure. But I think all the Yamaha riders have been riding around a lot of issues for years now.

Mav is gonna wipe the floor with Aleix. For 1 race, anyway.

Actual Bombshell: MV12 to race at Aragon(!)

    (Did not expect that)

    (News on motoGP.com)

(Makes you wonder: Had Savadori been fit, if this would have happened so soon.....)

I wonder if he’ll punt FQ if he gets the chance… actually this one might go the other way too

Only Crutchlow ever truly carried his potential all the way to the end of the race.

I know Mav goes well at Aragon and I know he looks to be at home on the Ape….. isn’t this a horsepower track though, the one thing the Ape is lacking? Glad to see him adapt to the V4 so quickly and at a track the team says is hard to ride their bike at. Would be great to see another consistent front runner but I don’t think a top 10 is in the cards at Aragon just based on his newness with the bike and it’s deficit on peak HP but I could be wrong.

He’s good enough to have a grid spot for now. But never going to have a world championship on his mantle. So who cares?
