I think the revised Med+ compound code is 0585

I consider the 0585 'hard' although it's categorized as 'med +'.

He probably has the med 0455, which is what i use.

 

Yeah....I would assume they are 0455 since they were produced in 2019.

 

Could be....it should have that compound code also embossed into the sidewall someplace. These are Med+ from late 2017. In fact it tell you the compound on each side of the tire if it’s a multi-compound

 

Humm, these are 0165.... go figure.

 

Softs maybe? I don't see any listings for an 0165 compound?

Yes.... they came from a team. I'll find out what compound and circle back.

 

So the guy I got them from said they are Moto America tires for Pitt and Barber.... medium plus or as the rest of the world calls them..... hard. Hope this helps...

IF there is an X-spec on the side of that tire...those are test tires and not production ones, and are not sold to the public. It does not mean those are magic tires...just means it's a different compound they were testing.

There are no special motoamerica tires at all...we can all get the same stuff they use and Stickboy sells them. They just spec out certain compounds each weekend for teams to use.
