Best noise cancelling ear plugs?

Over the years I've used foam ear plugs. I tried a set of the custom silicone ones that I got at a motorcycle show, but they weren't comfortable at all and didn't seem as good as the foam ones from a noise cancelling standpoint.

I've been using the Howard Leight plugs and have recently moved up from a lightweight to a middleweight bike. At top speeds the Howard Leight plugs just don't cut the wind noise and I'm looking for some suggestions for some other ear plugs to try out.

    Thanks

What they make noise canceling ear plugs, sounds pretty high tech.

Ive never seen anything better than NR33. You can probably buy NR33 foam earplugs nearly anywhere - grocery stores, convenience stores, hardware stores. I like the brown or blue ones.

@647 Are you sure you are putting the earplugs in all the way?

This was going to be my recommendation as well. Last year I set out to find a better earplug and eventually found these. Love ‘em and 100% recommend. Excellent sound isolation, comfortable, and rarely come out of place when I put my helmet on (a problem I had a lot of with traditional foam plugs). I use the Sonic Defenders Ultra
