Repair rubber intake boot

    Anyway to patch or repair the intake boot between the air box and throttle body? Its on the nipple so its a stressed area of the rubber.

    Silicone or some way to weld rubber?

    Parts on back order and maybe for a bit just planning for worst case. Its on a street bike

    Heard/seen videos of people using black rtv to do so.

    I ended up using some silicone i had laying around. Cleaned it well with rubbing alcohol. I dont expect it to last but i was able to buy a whole airbox with boots off ebay. Hopefully that rubber last more than a few years...
