She was on Amerkin Idol a few years ago... by far the most vocally talented of the lot, but she came across as a bit of a B****.

    Pipes like hell, though.

Evolutionarily speaking, the amniotic egg came before the chicken. The first chicken came from an egg which was laid by a proto-chicken and due to mutation hatched the first chicken. If you don't believe in evolution, then this is really a moot question for you.

I watched a Nova/PBS/Science channel documentary about the rover... They tied the wiring harnesses up with frickin string.

I would think that NASA would have a more technical solution.

Actually, properly wrapped/tied harnesses have a LONG background and development. Done properly it works well, survives vibration, does not damage the underlying wiring, is repairable, really few faults to the practice. You'll see it in an telco CO you visit, there are tons of various products for directing and bundling fiber, but for copper wax string is still king in 2021. (I believe the technique actually originates from the military to boot.)

Lots of string in commercial aircraft wiring bundles. More flexibility than plastic zip ties.
