2020 NFL Thread

Probably already been discussed, but amongst the litany of bad and stupid rules in the NFL, fumbling out of the opponents endzone by the offensive team and having it be a touch back is an idiotic rule. It should remain as the offensive team ball, just moved back to the defenses 20 yard line. I mean, the rule goes from nearly scoring a touchdown to giving the other team the ball, and they also never got possession. If you are the offense and you got the ball that close, or in, the endzone......you should at least retain possession.

 

We're a pretty good bunch...

 

Another reason to hope they win, 1st time winners are always cool.

Good, even though he had a good year, I'm glad he's leaving. Hopefully that means that the Colts have found his replacement.They're just a few players away from being a very good team.

 

Umm.. or don't fumble when you're about to score.

 

Maybe his replacement is in Houston, Watson seems to want out.

 

Well, in the most recent case, it was also a helmet to helmet targeted contact, which was ignored by the officials. That being said, I think some of those rules are also stupid. It's a collision sport. Shit happens.

 

I think I would take my chances on one of the incoming QBs, there's a few this year. Colts even have money left, they paid Luck an extra 22 mill last year after he retired, Luck was contracted through 21.

 

Is Mahomes playing? If he isn't, the Bills win.
I guess I'd rather see the Packers win, tired of Marcia Brady.

 

I don't think anyone knows yet, but I'd be pretty dang surprised if he wasn't out there.

 

I think Packers will win by 2 TDs, and the Bill win regardless of Mahomes participation.

 

I don't think they have anyone lined up, coach said he was hoping he would stay another year.

 

First they lose to the Browns 98 - 6 in the play offs, now the Steelers sign Dwayne Haskins. Assf@ck!

<still muttering to myself> "Papa said we could have had Wentz and we sign Haskins. Haskins!!! A QB so bad that the washington team cut him before the end of the season".

We'd better get JJ Watts to complete the Watts set after signing Haskins.

 

I'm dying over here thinking about how you must feel about this. I know how I'd feel if the Titans signed him

 

Haskins and Tomlinson use the same agent for their contracts.

So, it's pretty transparent. The Agent called Mike up and said, "Can you sign this liability and see if you can teach him how to play football and act like an adult?"

Right idea...wrong coach.
