We often deal with bad things by laughing at them. Laughing at things that aren't actually funny doesn't make them funny. It makes them tolerable. Child abuse may be tolerable to many, but it's not ever funny. And I got the belt a lot growing up. "The belt" is not what is being depicted above.
I've said my piece. Sorry for disrupting the flow of odd-ball pics. I offer this in atonement: I'm told it is a couple getting divorced dividing their Beanie Baby collection in court in 1999. Quite odd-ball if true.
So I guess the question is, where is the list of what's ok to joke about and what's not? We need to officially post this list all across the internet.
Everything is funny to someone. Everything is offensive to someone. Say whatever you want, just don't whine when the consequences come.
So your part of the First amendment crowd that believes free speech doesn't mean the right not to be offended. The comedians have a chance then. Between the PC and cancel culture the first amendment is in danger. Hell this is heading towards the dungeon material. OH well, banned again.
True; there's nothing funny about child abuse, that's where I come into the picture. eg. you can't have manslaughter without laughter.
