So will any more race teams that actually know how to build a good race bike show up now that it is a race series? I would have liked them to allow the Japanese baggers into the class, even if they had to run less displacement, etc. to balance things out.
The third HONOS Superbike race at the Barber Motorsports Park round will replace the King of the Baggers race, which has been removed from the schedule due to a lack of sufficient track time. Additionally, based on feedback about the close timing to the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, MotoAmerica has decided to remove the King of the Baggers round at Pittsburgh International Race Complex from the schedule. The new three-round King of the Baggers schedule is: Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta (April 30-May 2), Road America (June 11-13) and WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca (July 9-11).
100% agree, with Polaris/ Indian being headquartered in Minnesota I am surprised they didn't shift a race to Brainard to have races in both brands main state
RRW had an article the other day saying that one of the guys who helped create the Bagger race has now gone and started a competing race series with more classes. He also took Drag Specialties from MA as title sponsor.
