    Maybe he can’t bring enough money with him to get a good MotoGP ride. Not many on the GP grid get there on their talent alone anymore.

    From what I understand most riders are bringing money to the teams. Maybe not full up buy a ride, but at least some sponsor money. That is pretty much the way it is in all forms of racing now. From NASCAR to Indy car, MotoGP to formula 1. You gotta bring something more then just driver or rider talent nowadays.
