Someone pass along he’s doing a really good job. Hearing someone knowledgable and excited about the topic makes it so much better.

Is there a way to watch the race (baggers) or only the live + service?

Twisted Throttle has been posting some of the live feeds on their FB page. Hard to say what all they’ll post through the weekend, though.

Going to be kind of embarrassing when they get spanked by Indian.

It’ll further illustrate Harleys are nothing more than tarted up relics, where the manufacturer have been resting on their laurels. As much as I hate Polaris Inc, at least their stuff was designed with some modern and forward thinking and manufacturing processes. Their bikes still have some Polaris-isms about them, but, not near as bad as a Victory Vision.

Just watched the practice video. They looked a lot better than I expected, especially the Indians. The fastest Harleys are doing a little hula but maybe that’s just Bostrom? Anyway, they get side to side pretty quickly, and look reasonably planted mid corner.

I think the rules were pretty liberal so there is a lot that has been done to make them do that. I can’t imagine the fast ones have much left chassis wise other than the frame.

I don’t think anyone is going to have anything for Tyler O’Hara on the Indian. The second Indian though appeared to have been looped trying a practice launch...

Rob implied at one point that the 'rules' were not really being enforced this time around. Sounds like next year they'll have a firmer rules package, likely with some balancing provisions?

So how is the 200hp turbo bike not higher up the order?

because it’s not a horsepower track?

    maybe?

or maybe o’hara is that good

    Because horsepower < chassis.

That’s why Jr. Cup bikes are almost just as fast. Also why a SSTK bike is almost as fast as a Superbike. At a track like Laguna the Superbikes are never all in power wise.

Yeah I just figured more hp is better than less hp
