Has Gillim been racing / riding? I'm assuming those Kentucky boys ride all of the time together but I haven't seen Gillim's name in any competition at all in 2020

 

he rode a Harley at the springfield Mile this year and finished 5th first time riding that bike on the mile that day.

 

Jesus... that dude is an animal. LOL

 

He raced PIRC's 4 hour with Taylor Knapp in September. I think they got 2nd.

They're going faster than I thought they would... nearly at XR1200 laptimes already. XR1200s had 86HP, but still...

 

I hope the field tightens up, but from P1, 9 bikes recorded a time, the top 5 all have gaps between each other ranging from 1.3s to 4.5s or so. All the ingredients for some parade laps at speed. I hope they looked cool doing those times but I wouldn’t know since P1 was not on Live+.

 

I would expect it to tighten up, OHara has been testing including at Laguna, some of these guys may have never seen their bikes til this weekend.

I've seen a few people here wonder whether they would be up to speed, like JD and Hayden forgot how to ride. They're professional riders lol. No, no they haven't.

 

Not sure where the lap times will end up, but JD is right there with them. Was briefly on top.

Wow, half way through first practice and JD is already 2nd fastest.
