Just read the Cycle News article about Roberts going to Italtrans. Which Pietri manages Italtrans, the father or the son?
Paasch appears to have some money and Euro moto3 experience, but would seem really weird for him to switch bikes for one race then leave the series.
Love the fact that a few races ago SDK/Paasch were whining about Richies 636 having an unfair advantage and now Paasch will be on it. Regardless, i'm sure he'll rip on it.
same.. By the way, do you work? Cause you're on the forum and TDJU and TDJ all the time, like me... and I do it from the office.. LOL
He wasn't as vocal about it but he did chime in at one of the press conferences with some line about "numbers". That's the only thing I ever heard/ saw him say on the subject. I've been a fan of his since the KTM days and was glad to see he mostly left the subject alone.
If they're cheater bikes, Kawi got it wrong.. I can usually muscle a pass down the straights against the 636 Ninjas with my 600cc 09-12 Ninja. I'm also not very good (top 5 ish Am racer) So maybe the 636 guys ive been racing are just worse than me? i dunno. I dont see much of any advantage.. Especially at the club level. Then again when you get to the echolon of MotoA maybe the 36cc's matter.. But i would think rider weight would matter more than 6% displacement increase.... Not to take this thread in the wrong direction. Anyone have the source for the Paash Kawi ride? Very interested to see how he'll do on that thing.
