This is rich. It's gonna be like some scene from Road Warriors, or somethin', or 50's NASCAR "don't fall behind in your cheating" kinda racing. I love the whole concept. This could be a thing for all of next season if it's half as popular as I think it will be.

During the few race weekends at Laguna there isn't a sound limit like there is during track days. Also in my experience, Turbo bikes are much quieter than normally aspirated bikes.

Stupid question, why are the rotors not vented? Not fully understanding how that's beneficial.

Cause that’s how Beringers are. I know for 250lb supermotos, their single disk setup is the bees knees.. not sure how that translates to half a ton hunks of metal though

    You mean not drilled?
No holes is more surface area of contact for the pads.

Holes are usually there to let gasses escape.

Holes also provide a small amount of additional cooling along with a slight amount of un-sprung and rotating weight reduction. It has long been debated how much this helps vs. hurts. Having the extra material in place for more friction and more mass to absorb the heat are benefits the other way. With higher top speeds, the extra cooling provided by the holes generally win, hence their use on sport bikes and high performance cars.

No limit on race weekends and turbos are actually not as loud as some of the pipes out there.
