Which other rear wheel for Ducati 916

Have a project in the works and rear suspension is from duke 916 but I don’t like the three spoke wheel from 1998. Wondering which other model year rear wheels would work ?

Any "Small Hub" Ducati wheel. Monster S2R, S4R, 796, 1100, Hypermotard (all years), 848, and new Supersport. You can tell the small hub bikes because they only have 5 bolts on the sprocket side. Large hub bikes have 6 bolts.

The 5 spoke Marchesini looked really nice. There were 3 models I think. The one that looked plain is the one I liked. The other two had marking on the spoke or small webbing in the center.

No, that's for big hub, 748-998, 848 are all small hub

 

Also look for the early air cooled Multistrada. All 5 spoke I believe. I had one as a rain wheel for my 848. Seems they were always found cheaper too, under that description!
