    Hi Guys,

I'm fitting a 1996 engine into my 1998 F3. Surprisingly, there are a lot of things that are just a bit different between the years. The one that currently has me stumped is the carb boots. The '98 boots are about a quarter-inch taller than the '96. I'm using the '98 carbs. Should I use the '98 boots to match the carbs, or the '96 boots to match the engine. I kinda think it doesn't matter, but I'm inclined to go with the '98 boots. Ideas?

Match the whole breathing apparatus (in and out) if you can.

The airbox is different so it might not fit if you have the wrong boots.

    It really makes no difference.
which ones you use just make sure the plastic piece that bolts to airbox is right one
they make a few different ones and look almost the same.
Shorter ones make more power just so you know.
    Any question just PM me.
