stoner folded under the pressure of having to go fishing and fucking his trophy wife after handing Rossi his ass multiple years. tough life indeed.
Dovi's shitty luck for having others crash him out strikes yet again. Don't see him coming back from this point deficit given his current form.
Not a great race and the weird winner/ podium streak continues. 2020 sucks and the sports are just weird ass.
Fabio had a great race. Showed some metal today. He’s in the hunt for sure and confirmed why Yamaha were correct in signing him up. Rossi. Just damn. I can’t remember the last time Rossi looked, acted and sounded so dejected. You could tell that this wasn’t about some dumb statistic of blah blah blah X amount of podiums. It was about winning and what slim shot he had, faded to black today. Maverick. That little “hush” sign at the end of last race really came back to bite him in the ass. When things go perfect for him. He has to be on pole and get a good start. If he can’t do that he’s done. Straight head case. Amazing talent but damn, box of chocolates with that guy. Pol. That Honder is going to break him. Rins. Great ride. Long way back to start but on the box. The Suk is good and probably the best race day bike but that was a really impressive ride. Mir. Listening to his post race comments, that guy is in the groove. If it comes down to Mir and Fabio. I think Fabio is more likely to make a mistake. I would say he’ll be leading the title chase going into the last few rounds. Being close and chasing a title is different from being in the lead trying to win one so it will be interesting to see how he copes with that. If Suz, specifically Mir, can get solid 2nd row starts. It’s going to be hard to beat them.
Mir, specifically, is very clinical with his overtakes. There's a new Doctor in town. He's got the colors right.
I think Quart will pull it off ahead of Mir. Le Mans, Aragon (2x), Valencia (2x), and then Portimao. The Suzuki’s problem is they can’t qualify and on their best day they look good, very good, towards the end. On Yamaha’s good days they win. Both were bad at Le Mans last year, that will go to a Duc/KTM. Bagnaia for the win! Quart was ok at Aragon, and the Suzuki’s weren’t great. Tossup. Valencia will be great races but I give the edge to Quart. Portimao may very well be a deciding round. WSBK results indicate it’s not all about power so Yamaha should be solid at least. The Yamahas shouldn’t have engine issues given the late season cooler temps. Whoever ultimately wins won’t have a bad day in the remaining races, so slight edge to Mir for consistency. The bigger points delta is in the top couple positions so the potential for Valencia wins will benefit Quart IMO. A lot of racing to go and certainly no sure thing! Bring it on!
