Just installed a furnace with blower and a WIFI thermostat I can turn on at work in my garage.

    3k installed.

    Wood is for bonfires.

It's like an automatic generator. You get the money back when you sell the house.....so you really aren't spending the money if you look at it that way.

Got a woodburner in my 24 x 36 garage. I did the install. I practically live in the garage for 2-3 months in the winter while i'm laid off. I love it.
No cars in garage, just bikes and the RZR.

I have a friend that burns fuel oil for his pole barn.

BTU value on it is really impressive.

    Is it free standing garage?
My is attached and I have duct from house heater to garage. Enough to get it up to 60º in winter.

Doesnt matter. Garage is a garage.

In my case it did matter. Instead separate heater for garage tapping in to house heater was enough.

Yea my homeowners insurance company gave me 2 weeks to remove a treehouse from my property, or risk being cancelled. They also said I needed to replace some of the screws holding my shutters onto there brick exterior!
