How is Joliet? Im hoping to ride autobahn next weekend if things arent too bad over there

 

Power was out at my Joliet place for 24 hours . Came back yesterday . Trees and wires were down in a lot of areas .. spotty power areas . It should be more than fine by then . Call the track

Was there last week and the week before. Aside from the bars and restaurants closing early, had a great time. Have you ever been there?

 

Storm damage? With all the killings nobody noticed.

 

My Pops out west of Chicago is still without power. The word is hopefully Saturday so he's bailed and went to one of the Iowa casino's for the rest of the week.

MEh...even I've BEEN to Chicago. Twice. I would go back again to see some of the FLW architecture. Then I would leave again.

 

My point was it’s a yuuuuuge city and just like any other yuuuuuge city, it has bad neighborhoods. It’s not like the whole place is a war zone. Some of you all watch too damn much tv.

 

Yep I love Chi for the most part but wont be leaving Joliet area this trip.

 

And others have had the joy of a wrong exit into East St. Louis.

 

I have always wanted to do a photo project following FLW and using large format. There is one house in Houston but it does not have a street view. I assume the owners get tired of the people seeking permission and of the others that don't.

 

This puts R Acree in a new light ! I now see him kicked back with his rooms filled with Prairie Mission furniture, Tiffany lamps and leaded glass window covers.... Who knew ?
