I crashed my bike last year and finally got around to fixing it up, I opened up the radiator cap and saw bunch of white gunk that has built up. Will I need to replace the radiator or will it clear up if I do a flush? If you look at the images you can kind of see the white buildup. IMG_0833 2.jpg IMG_0834 2.jpg

If you can't clean it with flush find a radiator shop ( if they still exist ) and they can clean it.

Last I looked they wouldn't bother with something this small.

That is some strange gunk there

Let it soak in white vinegar for 6 hrs, check, soak some more if it needs it. Don't leave the vinegar in there more than a few hours without checking as it may eat away some of the aluminum. Flush with water real well when done.

Thanks for all the feedback! Was able to do a flush and get it all cleaned out. Almost threw up in the process
