I had to look that up and was surprised to see that is correct. My 67 Nova SS had a 327 that put out 350 hp.
I can't think of any vehicle I hate more than an el camino. The only thing that should look like a Chevelle is A FUCKING CHEVELLE. I get all excited when I see a '67 Chevelle driving toward me, and then want to barf when I see it has a truck bed.
Lol I have a 67 Chevelle also. but you can’t mistake a 67chevele with an 86 gbody unless you’re saying you hate a 67 elky also. actually just go fuck yourself.
The taco isn't based upon a car chassis. Though, it would explain why they had a problem with frame rot those few years
My first car...a 66. Cut it out of the weeds behind a house. Got to put all the money my father never paid me, but set aside in a bank account for me, in it. Ended up with may more car than any 16 year old should be turned loose in. 500+ hp pump gas motor, a 5 speed and big ass meats out bag. No one should have a big tire car at that age.
Back bout 35 years ago, I had a 66 El- Camino with a 400 small block in it That som bitch would smoke the tires for ever. Finally got tired of putting rear tires on it Sold it for a song and a dance. Wish I had it back now
friend had an 86 Caballero Amarillo (the GMC version of the El I have-no-dicko) with the extremely powerful 150hp 5.0.Always pissed him off when my little Sonoma 4.3HO smoked him all the time.
I had a friend of mine who had a 69' SS396 in 1979. 325 hp, with a cowl induction hood. Dark blue with white rally stripes. It was fast for it's time. A-body truck!
The Falcon based Ranchero was smoother than Santana drinking triple malt scotch, you uncultured heathen.
'68-'72, manual, bucket seats, posi... Anything else is a farmer's grocery getter (earlier models) or a girl's truck (later models). Either way, have all the long hair you want...
One of my Dad's friends had one with a camper in the bed of it in the early 70's. And one of my uncles was a BIG El Camino fan. He owned a couple over the years.
