Did that thing really have a proper scatter shield on it or no?

 

It had a scatter shield, but there was some sort of bell housing failure that allowed this to happen.

These guys (minus Baron) are at it again with an entertaining comparo.
Mossy is a throwback to less PC times, and yes you hear the same old platitudes from them both (KTM feels "agricultural" "still has it's niggles", Triumph is "too refined, lost it's edge" but still a really entertaining watch IMO.
Dyno graphs as well for those interested.
Love my 890R, it's an insanely capable and exciting road bike, however I could do without said "niggles" LOL...…
