The OE quickshifter on my 1199 died, probably before I bought it.....I think it worked a time or two on it's first few laps but no more. So I'm shopping for an aftermarket setup. It's got a Tuneboy tune, and I reckon TuneBoy makes a shifter and it's a good bit cheaper than the MotoD unit. Are there better options?
if you have the tuneboy on it, it's a no-brainer to go with their QS https://www.tuneboy.com.au/quickshifter/ it also does blipped downshifts.
All kinds of OEM on Ebay for $125 https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=1199 quickshifter&ssPageName=GSTL The one on my 2012 is still going strong and never misses a beat. Never needed help downshifting and I beat on mine. @maslov still uses his factory too unless I'm mistaken.
Agree with this ^ , get Tuneboy QS and download latest software which made autoblip even better. Wayne sent me the file explicitly saying that new update is for better up and down QS operation.
