You’re not the target market, Slow Poke Rodriguez...

The guys at the pointy end who can exploit half a degree of rake angle, however... :Poke:

And the only pointy part on you is the top of your head Sparky...:p
I am pretty sure that the guys that can exploit 1/2 a degree of rake are getting what they need without 40 moving parts in their triple clamps...:D

If this system makes changing that 1/2 degree a two minute exercise instead of a half an hour, those guys who can exploit it are going to be able to make those adjustments and continue a practice session to compare results.

Seems like a worthwhile investment to me.

Because the fork tube moves through that area.

Who knows? That's the complicated part about triple clamps, too complicated.
I'll be glad when we switch to the less complicated but more labor intensive front steering/suspension mechanism below. No brake dive! :D

I get it's more even - but what is the advantage?

Yep, just like an extension for paint rollers or the like.

I just braze my forks to the clamps, even holding with no pressure.

I don’t see it being a real world improvement. The way forks are clamped now when properly tightened is totally fine. I’m betting there will be less than .0005” distortion to the tube. Not enough to matter for the application. If I think about it I will do some measuring and find out next time I have one to that point.
Waste of time and money IMO. Will probably sell tons to trackday guys....
And Goons that think stock SV forks are great.

What, like buying any aftermarket triples that pretty much all go for the same ~ $1500?

A few more and it'll be four!

(That's the cue for someone to come along and fuck it up.) :D

Maybe they're "re-introducing" them cuz world teams are starting to use 'em?

I don't know about new bikes, Ducatis, for instance, but my '01 Duc had rake-adjustable steering. Guess how many times I wish I coulda done that within the time constraints and how many times I actually did it. I'll help ya out...more than once and never.
A product that speeds that process up, what, tenfold? Why wouldn't it be used to knock some time off a lap? You won't know if it helps if you don't have the opportunity to make the changes.
