It's FUCKING WEIRD the fist time it happens. Especially if you're not expecting it. I got one as a loaner a few years ago and when it happened, I yelled "oh fucking great!" I won't lie, I was in a bit of a panic for the .75 seconds it took me to figure it out by hitting the gas.

Well wife surprised me and ordered my tuner. Got it installed last night and man is this thing bad ass. 4wd launches are fucking awesome!

 

What tuner / map did you get? I have the same truck.

 

5 STAR 93 preformance tune. Guys were awesome to deal with and man what a difference.

 

I've been using the 91 (no 93 here) performance/tow tune from them for about 8 months now. It absolutely transformed the truck. I tow a 8000 lb tow hauler and it pulls it no problem.

 

Man, I gotta admit was kinda shocked with how much it woke it up. When we launched it 4wd, it gets down to business in a hurry. Need to find a good gadget that tells you 1/4 mile times till the drag straps open back up.

 

No wonder you OH boys are slow on the strip...your dragging straps...

I'm curious what you have for 1/4 mile . I have an OBD2 scanner that also records 0-60, 1/4 mile, etc and according to that thing (which I admit probably isn't 100% accurate) my '15 3.5 Eco F150 gets from 0-60 in 5.5 seconds when in sport mode, manual shifts, and auto-4wd. In comparison, my friends' 19 Bullitt Mustang gets 0-60 in 4.0 seconds with my scanner.
