So... I'm watching TV this morning... having my morning cup of coffee. And this Hummer commercial comes on. It has all the cool lighting effects and weird camera angles necessary to make the thing look all sexy.

Towards the end of the commercial, they're doing the weird lighting / angle thing as the Hummer "streaks" down a perfectly straight, two lane highway, at all of 60mph.

At the bottom of the camera frame, in very fine print, it says "Professional driver on a closed course. Do not attempt."

Wait a minute, I can't go sixty in a straight line on a completely empty desert highway? WOULD THAT BE DANGEROUS? OH NO!

I forget where I saw this quote, but I love it:

"take the warning labels off of everything and let Darwin sort it out."

The only time they become UNSTABLe is when the driver
tries to pass up a GAS STATION !:D :moon:
