Smells fishy, too many places have curbside pickup nowadays

What curbs are you pulling an 18-wheeler up to, for food pickup?

Went into a truckstop today for ice and Cokes. They had the whole coffee/drink area blocked off. Had to ask the lady working the area for a large cup of ice. No one else was allowed to touch anything in that area.

Oh, and while stopped at a stoplight, the passenger window on the car next to me rolled down, someone yelled "Thank you," and they went on down the road.

    That was nice.

Really , I haven’t seen anything out of the norm at pilots - just can’t use your own cup . Oh , and you have to provide your own towel for the shower now . I’m running up and down 75 , mi -fl

While I was delivering cars in Detroit today passerby’s were so nosy - more so than they usually are .... asking why I was hauling cars , being nosy about where they were going ....strange times.

These are the same people that drive 65 in the fast/speeding lane.

Depends on what you were hauling. I've done that when there was something rare or unique on the truck that I'd like to inquire about depending on final destination.

Those that “sold” were probably pre-sold to fleets.

My previous employer has initiated a hiring freeze, through end of year. I’m not sure how many are furloughed, but, it’s a huge number, when 20+ year drivers are parked.

I work for a LTL carrier. WFO here. It's almost annoying, they're about to run my dick into the ground.

If you don’t me asking, who do you work for? City driver?

Only asking because if unemployment runs out and I can’t make a living I might have to go back to driving again. Local LTL would be my first choice but I’ve heard some companies are terrible to work for.

Things slowed for me "otr" at the start of this. Which was expected since my spring/summer runs are mostly my, nj,ct, etc back to NC. Been balls to the wall past month+.
I'm not complaining. The motor in my pickup tried to grenade itself so now it's in the shop getting a long block put in and some other tidbits. Another stimulus check would be greatly appreciated..
