This whole situation is a bit perturbing. Now I'll have to satiate my desire to pass judgement on people I don't know in the General section, although it may be that it would be an easier task in Vintage.

 

I'm not in favor of closing, but Mongo's house, Mongo's rules. Participation was voluntary so I don't get the rapture some of the peeps feel at closure of a forum they weren't required to frequent. It's an asshole position to take.

 

I think it is more amusement than actual rapture. You folks are antsier than a 3 tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs.

 

No rapture here, or even amusement, but it is interesting. Oh, to be sure, there was that momentary flare of schadenfreude, lol. But in this timeout, as it were, can the regular denizens of the dungeon go back and review their contributions and recognize themselves as someone they respect? Is that how one speaks to and about other people? All semblance of civility dropped long ago there. Good riddance.
