What we should do is one month don't buy a certain brand of fuel and then the next month a different brand and so on.

Today, one of the local supermarket's gas station (Kroger) is offering regular unleaded for $1.03 per gallon, with the card. It is not advertised anywhere, just word of mouth and the line was 50+ deep. Pretty cool, although I do not think I am waiting in that line.

The US needs to just blow up the middle east and take over all their oil.

Jason, the Kroger was on 7th St. When I came home from work, the price was back up. I was told it would rotate between the Kroger pumps. Who knows? Good luck.

Doesn't matter if it is OPEC or
MExico or what ever ! The point is, this country is dependant
on oil from some where else and not our own supply.
THUS, when push comes to shove, do you think that those other
" Powers" give a rats ass about our need here ?
All they have to do is change the out-put and the price and you
have the current problem we are seeing right now.
( remember: the pilots of the planes for 911 were from
the SADAN , , oh. Wait ! They are our friends . . . yeah, sure.)
We have had a need to produce our own revenues for years but oooooh noooo, we can't wipe out the yellow-horned spotted
eight leg tree jumping frogs now can we ! ?
    :Puke:
NO. Wait ! I have a better idea ! Its all
Prez Bush's fault ! He did it to us ! Lets blame him and not our pollical votes for whats just for our country.

By the way, if every single person in the US did not buy gas on the same day, it would have absolutely no effect on the price of gas. 99.9% of those people would just buy either the day before or the day after anyway, and the oil bastards work with supplies on a weekly basis to boot!
The only real way to effect the market is to USE LESS FUEL!
"Hmmm, maybe i'll skip a practice or two at VIR! to hurt the oil companies!" LMAO

    Need? NEED? NEED?

You might want to look at our use of oil (and other resources, per capita) before you talk about "need."

    Because we CAN! ...duh...

Haven't you noticed this is the demenor of about 95% of "patriotic" Americans. For further evidence of this, one only needs to wander into the leftmost lane of any multiple lane road in America. "Why should I move over for this clown behind me? I'm doing 65, he doesn't need to go any faster, fuck him, he should only go 65 too and I'm going to personally ensure that!"

Funny though, Germany doesn't have that problem... In fact, they'll even pull over and wave you by on backroads! Not like just once in a while either, about ever other car you come up on! They pay about $5 a gallon for gas. Is there a correlation? Can there be a silver lining to all this?

....yeah I parked the serial killer van the day ... tired of the $50 dollar fill ups.

BTW....cost of gas in europe is higher because of highway taxes.
