Loved that show as a kid. Built that 1/32 scale Revell Corsair a few times. Found one on a specialty site a few years ago, added a special upgrade cockpit and decal set to it. Simple as it is, it's still one of my favorites. Robert Conrad was a great choice to play Gregory Boyington. He was cool in the battery commercial as well.
RIP Greg Boyington....(Bob Conrad). The show wasn't at all true to real life in the Black Sheep but the scenes with the planes were what I liked.
RIP Pappy... I loved Black Sheep...but lets forget Jim West. He was good in that until the Fresh Prince effed that up.
Forget Jim West? Nah. The movie is irrelevant. Wild, Wild West is one of the best tv shows ever made. Period. If you don't have a grapple and 100ft rope in the heel of your boot it's your own fault. RIP
So he's the one this year. It seems every year, someone drops dead a day or two before the Oscars, too late to be added to the in memoriam montage. I loved both series as a kid. RIP.
