We used to chase the trucks running through our neighborhood in FL.

 

We used chase them in Jersey too!.....pack of kids riding bikes thru the cloud behind the truck!....for blocks.....my brothers and I still joke about it. Everyone obviously overreacts today.....Its apparent everything is fine....Myself, Acree, and IYC are living proof of all good!

Another one from my past was us boys standing against the chainlink fence of our yards as the Garbage Men came thru.....we were all CERTAIN that someday we would become garbage men, so we could ride and hang off the back of the truck, while waiving at the kids.......um, well, it doesn't sound as good as it once did, which also had nothing to do with riding thru a cloud of DDT either!

 

Dad was in Ag Chemical sales in Miami. One Halloween mom dressed me up as a bag of DDT.

We also rode on the pickup truck tailgate, stood up in the bed and didn't wear helmets when we rode bikes.

 

Ah...the good ol' days.

Yep, sounds familar!.....I can remember my dad with a pickup truck bed full of a little league team many times.....I can also remember one kid falling out as we parked at the ice cream stand after a victory....he was a dumbass and unhurt, but could you imagine that TODAY?....It would be on the news or something! Lawsuits!

Yes, Bordentown, just south of Trenton....I still have alot of family there....some in the graveyard and some not.
