Pit bikes, what’s the popular option?

So my trusty Zuma of the past 6 yrs seems to have bit the dust. On top of the carb issues the piston rings are obviously shit so I’m kinda over it. Any recommendations? Grom/Z125, bikes, E Scooters?

If it's just for pits, something clutchless.

I love my little ttr 90. Clutchless for the pits but still fun enough to mess around on at the house.

Zuma or Ruckus. Clutch less and able to carry tires or gas cans.

Since I race Vintage, I stick with the theme. 1971 SL125

FI 125cc yamaha zuma. incredible reliability and easy to ride, comfy seat, no clutch or shifting nonsense so easy to carry something or grab your tire cart. Can find em used with really low miles for half what they cost new. Had an aprilia 2stroke for a few years. was good for awhile, then stuff just started falling apart right and left. fuel pumps non stop issues, had to remember to put oil in the injection bottle, the oil line broke, seized up.. what a POS.

    Z125.

I made a hitch for my tire cart. Having a clutch doesn’t bother me and way more fun then a Zuma

    Phl218 .

    Grom or fiddy.

the clutch aspect is overblown. you can still hold a beer between your legs and or tires over your sholders. our build a hitch for the cart ^

But you have to stop to drink it, pretty inefficient for a German. :D

Beat up Trek mountain bike for me. Keeps me loose between sessions if I need to go somewhere, but faster and easier than walking. Virtually no maintenance. Takes up very little room in the trailer. I am doing advanced pace track days on an SV mostly and occasionally on my old R1, so I don't go to the tire vendor very often and if they are far away from my pit I just take the SUV, but usually I just walk there.

If you are racing at the pointy end and need frequent trips to the tire vendor, what Melka says.

I’ve considered it, however it’s always been a bit grumpy in the mornings to start and I really want FI
