Yes I sure do know how to get our there....Willow Springs baby!!!!! That seems like a good deal to my uneducated self, I just dont think I would use it. If I'm going anywhere in the dirt it is going to be on a motorcycle.
It seems like 75% of all vehicles on the road here in Qatar are LC or the Lexus equivalent. We did a sand dune tour in one and it is a bad ass machine!!
We all need to email him with offers to trade for shitty motorcycles...you know Suzukis.... I may even offer to trade him 2 bikes, cause then its 4 wheels...
Just went and looked at one this weekend, I think we will end up with one to replace our aging minivan. Seems like it would meet our needs and looks pretty cool to.
I see a bunch of the Lexus running around here and almost every one of them has multiple lights out and have a parking lot/ stop light bash mark in them. Great looking suvs but asian ladies seem to gravitate to them (and the gold tear drop shaped lexus, in gold) and the land cruiser (and whatever they smashed into that day) suffers for it.
Try to get a 460. The 470 has belt driven timing but the 460 has a timing chain. Both are great and very reliable but as with all belt drives, it has to be changed at some point and i'm sure it isn't cheap. just my .02.
Dude. I know right. WTF is it with asians and gold cars? IMO gold is a horrible car color and im like who da fuq keeps buying these so people keep making them. And your right... asians. At least you know the blinker handle and relay isnt worn out form use....
I don't remember what year you are going for, but just saw this. Did you ever buy anything? https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1989-toyota-land-cruiser-fj62-37/ And a little newer. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2005-lexus-lx-4/ Wow bring a bunch of cash for this 32k mile example. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1989-toyota-land-cruiser-fj62-40/
Funny, I’ve had my eye on that FJ62. We’ll see where it goes. I was all hot and bothered over a 95 FZJ80 that was posted a couple of weeks back, but it sold for nearly $30k. Crazy. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1995-toyota-land-cruiser-8/

Oh god no. The one listed for $18k. I fix furnaces for a living, plus I need one I can scratch up a little.
Yep I missed that one. $20k is my upper limit but that thing looked clean. Maybe a little too nice...
I've wondered on some of these BAT listings like this one...dealer recently got it...shined it up and threw it up on BAT.. What do you think the dealer paid for it? ~10k...15k?? I guess it pays to know the market for these collectible type cars out there...
