Thanks for the input all, going to get it all typed up in a semi concise manner (aka copy and paste Eboz's stuff along with the others I have) and I'll get them on here as well as give them to our Vintage Advisory Board that is meeting Wednesday for more input and try to get this all working better.

He is busy eating pie. I'm not sure about others . . . obviously they are not drinking, or there would be an ongoing flurry of responses, suggestions, criticisms, etc. Maybe folks are hung over? Maybe they are all busy preparing all these reputed garage queens which have been threatened to miraculously appear on 2020 grids . . . ? Nah, that'd be too much to ask . . . .

    Cheers,

    Dave

Im not going to read through all the post so im not sure if anyone has thought of it yet, thinking about my V7 proposal. Why wouldn't 1999 600's be legal in the new V7 heavyweight?? The SRAD GSXR 750 is a 99, the R6 would have been a bump up when they were new. just a thought?

    So what we decide? 96-98
    SRAD 750V7HW? SRAD 600 and R6 same years V7MW?

    Is the SRAD 750
    In 7HW?

In my written proposal the SRAD was V7HW legal but we are waiting on final confirmation from Mongo and the New committee, Ron, Mitch and Jim to publish.

Ok carb model we know. But what about FI models?
That's what Dyle is actually asking.

    I'd vote no on FI.

Dyle was asking about carb 600s in MW, not 750s in HW. Aren't the Ducati's that are already allowed in HW FI bikes?

Edit - I bring this up because I don't think there is much of a performance difference between the carb and FI SRAD 750s.

    Is the SRAD 750
    In 7HW

Well this is what he asked.
So not sure where you got info.
He had asked me before also.
But 600 Srads that will be legal are carb models in V7MW
I wasn't sure about if Eboz has said anything about fI models for 750 or not.
But the Ducks race ARHMA and the whole ideal was to get some of the ARHMA guys to show up at Wera.
The V7HW class is very light and as much as it hurts me.
It would be a perfect class to add these bikes and hopefully they will come race.
The class rules for both these type classes can be bridged in V7HW.
My F3 may be out gunned but as I've always said bikes still needs to be ridden on track.
But this may be the perfect opportunity to grow vintage racing.

I'm not going through 10 pages of this shit, but there were tons of questions about carb'd 600s, and I don't think I've ever seen anyone ever suggest the SRAD 750 be split up from 96/97-98/99, they are the same bike just with carbs and FI. It would be dumb to allow one and not the other. And I say this with a bike that has carbs on it, so it's not me trying to get my personal bike allowed.
