"Once upon a time in Hollywood"

I watched Hobs and Shaw on the plane to work last week and 5 minutes into it all i could think is, damn Broome would be all about this movie. I think it has all the ingredients to be in your top 10.

 

Once Upon a Time in The West is pretty good.

You should definitely watch "Dark" on Netflix.

If you want to be really pissed, watch Memento. The dude telling the story cant remember what happened beyond 15 minutes ago and is trying to solve a murder.

Pulp Fiction for the win but I have to admit it took a second watch to really appreciate all of the story connections.

As for the hate, it's an omage to old Hollywood. It's what QT remembers it from when he was a kid and then wrote a story around it. I loved it. The subtle shit with Cliff and his relationship with his dog, to Rick's fragile ego, and the call-back with the flamethrower, I thought it was great. Why make this movie? Why not. Did you want another superhero movie?
