What class would the new aprilia RS 660 fit into?

The New Aprilia 660 looks like a fun machine with 660cc parallel twin i would think it would be competing against SV650s and fz07s with a little hp advantage and maybe a slight weight disadvantage. The bike is supposed to have around 100hp but its so new i dont think they r out in the world for real dyno numbers yet so that could b crank hp and overrated.

Thanks. Will b interesting to see some real world numbers on that thing. I love my SVs but this Aprilia looks to be way ahead in development.

This bike has piqued my interest as well. I am thinking about getting an RSV4 to race so that I can pick one of these up in a year or 2 and have 2 similar platforms to work on.

I know they trim costs and all, but, the concept really popped, compared to the production bike.

Out of the crazy amount of bikes ive owned my only Aprilia was the sxv550 and that thing was just a racebike with lights and i loved that but the reliability scared me so despite my love for her performance i got rid of it. But if this piece proves even 1/2 as reliable as its sv competition il buy one.
