OK, true story here ... The year? 1974. The place? Daytona International Speedway, the weekend of the 200. Yamaha had flown in Agostini from Europe to ride the new TZ700 (wasn't a 750 until '75). He was "hidden" in one of the permanent concrete block buildings in the paddock. Dozens of photographers (including me) were camped outside the door, waiting for him to appear (this was Sunday AM; race day). All of a sudden, the packed crowd in the grandstands starting cheering - a streaker was on the run, on the track. Most of the folks around me went to see what was going on. Not sure if you clicked the link, but there's actually a decimal in there. He also was doing it to hedge a promotional where he would have given refunds on a ton of merchandise if the Astros had won. Pretty wild still, but not insane.
